Application Process
The deadline for submission of LOIs for the 2024 grant cycle was August 1; no new LOIs will be considered at this time. The 2025 grant cycle will be be available for submissions beginning in January.
The Gould Charitable Foundation uses an online application process that includes two steps:
Letter of Inquiry
Letters of inquiry are accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis between January and the annual deadline. Eligible organizations are welcome to submit an LOI online. Please refer to the Login page for more information about online submission.
You will be notified by email within a few weeks whether you are invited to submit a full application. Add administrator@grantinterface.com and info@gouldgiving.org to your email's approved senders list to ensure that notifications don't get caught in your spam filter.
Full Application
We accept full applications by invitation only, based on submission of an LOI. Invitations will include additional instructions regarding the required online application and the deadline for submission.
We highly encourage organizations to apply with enough time before each respective deadline to allow for any possible rewriting of LOIs or applications at the foundation's request. If time allows, our foundation might ask for clarification or make suggestions for submissions.
Letter of inquiry deadline: August 1
Full grant application deadline: October 1
Grants will be approved on or before November 30.
Grantees are requested to submit an online follow-up report by October 1 of the following year describing how the grant was deployed and evaluating the impact of the project funded.
The report should be submitted using the same online process as the application.
The follow-up report will be automatically assigned to the person who completed the application and can only be reassigned by a system administrator. If you need to have a change made, contact us for assistance.
